    To reach Lakefront Trail, start by finding the nearest CTA bus stop. If you are in downtown Chicago, look for the 146 or 151 buses that travel towards the lakefront. Board the bus and pay your fare using a Ventra card or cash. Stay on the bus until you reach the stop at Michigan Ave & Oak St. After getting off, walk east towards the lake, where you will find the Lakefront Trail.

    Public Transit - CTA Train

    If you're near a 'L' station, take the Red Line train towards Howard. Get off at the Chicago stop. Once you exit the station, head east on Chicago Ave until you reach Michigan Ave. Turn left (north) and walk towards Oak St. Continue walking east until you reach the lakefront, where the Lakefront Trail begins.

    Walking

    If you are already near the lakefront, simply walk towards the nearest access point. For example, if you are at Millennium Park, head east on Randolph St, then turn right onto Michigan Ave. Continue walking north until you reach Oak St Beach, where you can access the Lakefront Trail directly.
