Getting There

• Train

  If you are near a train station, take the 'Red Line' or 'Yellow Line' to the 'State/Lake' station. Once you exit the station, head east on East Lake Street towards North State Street. Turn left on North State Street and continue walking until you reach East Illinois Street. Turn right and walk towards the lake. Continue straight until you reach North McClurg Court. The Nicholas J. Melas Centennial Fountain will be on your left at 400 N McClurg Ct.

  Find a nearby bus stop and take either the #151 or #148 bus routes. If you board the #151 bus, get off at the 'Lake Shore Drive & Illinois' stop. From there, walk north on North McClurg Court for about two blocks until you arrive at the Nicholas J. Melas Centennial Fountain at 400 N McClurg Ct. If you take the #148 bus, get off at the 'Illinois & McClurg Ct' stop, and the fountain will be just ahead.

• Walking

  If you are staying in the Streeterville area or nearby, simply head towards the lakefront. Walk along East Illinois Street until you reach North McClurg Court. The fountain is located right at the intersection. You can enjoy a scenic walk along the lakefront park before reaching the fountain.
