Public Transit - Bus
To reach the Poetry Foundation at 61 W Superior St, start by locating the nearest bus stop. If you are near the Chicago Loop, you can catch the #37 Sedgwick bus heading north. Board the bus and take it northbound for about 10-15 minutes. Get off at the stop at North Avenue & Sedgwick. From there, walk east on North Avenue until you reach Wells Street, then turn left (north) and walk for a few blocks until you reach Superior St. Turn right on Superior St, and the Poetry Foundation will be on your left at 61 W Superior St.
Public Transit - Train
If you are near a train station, take the Red Line train towards Howard. Get off at the Chicago station. Once you exit the station, head east on Chicago Avenue until you reach State Street. Turn left (north) on State St and continue until you reach Superior St. Turn right (east) on Superior St, and you will find the Poetry Foundation at 61 W Superior St on your left.
Walking
If you are already in the Near North Side area, you can easily walk to the Poetry Foundation. Start at the corner of State St and Superior St. Walk west on Superior St for about five blocks, and you will find the Poetry Foundation at 61 W Superior St. It’s a pleasant walk, and you can enjoy the local architecture and shops along the way.

If you prefer biking, use a Divvy bike share station. Locate the nearest Divvy station, rent a bike, and head towards the Poetry Foundation. A good route would be to bike west on Chicago Ave, then turn north on Wells St. Continue until you reach Superior St, then turn right (east) and proceed to 61 W Superior St. Make sure to park your bike at a Divvy station near the Poetry Foundation.
