Walking
From Millennium Park, head southeast towards the intersection of Michigan Avenue and Randolph Street. Once you reach Randolph Street, turn left (east) and walk until you reach the Lakefront Trail entrance. Enter the trail and continue walking south along the trail. Follow the signs for the Adler Planetarium, which is approximately a 20-minute walk from Millennium Park. You'll enjoy beautiful views of the skyline along the way.

From Millennium Park, walk to the nearest bus stop located at Michigan Avenue and Randolph Street. Catch the #146 bus heading south towards the Museum Campus. Stay on the bus for about 10 minutes, and get off at the stop right before the Adler Planetarium. After you disembark, walk a short distance to the entrance of the Adler Planetarium Skyline Walk.

Public Transit - CTA Train
From Millennium Park, walk to the State/Lake station, which is about a 10-minute walk heading northwest. Take the Brown, Green, Orange, Pink, or Purple Line trains heading towards the Loop. Transfer at the Harold Washington Library station to the Red Line. Board a southbound Red Line train towards 95th/Dan Ryan and get off at the Roosevelt station. From there, exit the station and walk east towards the Museum Campus. Follow the signs, and you will reach the Adler Planetarium Skyline Walk in approximately 15 minutes.
