Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are already in Millennium Park, start at the Cloud Gate sculpture (commonly known as 'The Bean'). From there, head east towards the park's eastern boundary, which is Michigan Avenue. Once you reach Michigan Avenue, turn left (north) and walk until you reach Monroe Street. At Monroe Street, turn right (east) and walk until you see the entrance to Lurie Garden on your left. It is located at 220 E Monroe St, and you will see a sign marking the entrance.

    Another route from the Jay Pritzker Pavilion is to exit towards the north side of the pavilion. Walk straight towards the north exit of Millennium Park, then take a left once you reach the pathway that leads to the southern entrance of Lurie Garden. Continue straight for a short distance, and you will see the entrance to Lurie Garden at 220 E Monroe St.

  • Public Transportation (CTA Bus)

    If you are further away from Millennium Park, you can take a CTA bus to reach Lurie Garden. Look for the #2 (Hyde Park Express) or #3 (King Drive) bus routes. Get off at the Michigan & Monroe stop. From there, walk east on Monroe Street for about two blocks. You will find Lurie Garden on your left at 220 E Monroe St. Please note that bus fares cost $2.50, and you can pay with cash or a Ventra card.
