Car
If you're driving, start by getting onto I-90 E/I-94 E from your location. Follow signs for the Kennedy Expressway toward Chicago. Continue on I-90 E/I-94 E, and then take the exit for Ohio St toward Michigan Ave. Merge onto Ohio St and turn right onto North Michigan Ave. The American Writers Museum will be on your right at 180 North Michigan Ave. Look for nearby parking garages like the Grant Park North Garage or the Millennium Park Garage.
Public Transportation
To reach the American Writers Museum using public transportation, you can take the 'L' train. If you are near a 'L' station, board the Red Line or the Blue Line towards downtown. If you're on the Red Line, get off at the State/Lake station. From there, walk east on Lake St until you reach North Michigan Ave, then turn left (north) and walk about 5 minutes until you arrive at 180 North Michigan Ave. Alternatively, if you're on the Blue Line, get off at Washington station, walk one block east to Michigan Ave, and then head north to the museum.
