    To reach Chicago's Chinatown Gateway using public transportation, take the CTA bus route 8 (Halsted) or route 21 (Cermak). If you are near the Loop, you can catch the bus at the nearest stop. Ride the bus southbound, and disembark at the intersection of Cermak Rd & Wentworth Ave. From there, it's a short walk (about 5-10 minutes) to the gateway located at 2206 S Wentworth Ave. A one-way fare on the bus is $2.50.

  • Public Transportation - CTA Train

    You can also take the Orange Line train from downtown Chicago. Board the Orange Line at any of the downtown stations (like State/Lake or Clark/Lake) and travel towards Midway Airport. Get off at the Halsted stop. From there, transfer to the #8 Halsted bus and head south. Disembark at the stop for Cermak Rd & Wentworth Ave, then walk approximately 5-10 minutes to reach the Chinatown Gateway at 2206 S Wentworth Ave. The fare for the train is also $2.50.
