    If you are driving from downtown Chicago, take the I-290 W (Eisenhower Expressway) from W Congress Parkway. Continue on I-290 W for about 6 miles. Take exit 29B for Pulaski Road toward Cicero Ave. Merge onto S Pulaski Rd. Continue driving on S Pulaski Rd for approximately 1 mile. The Geographic Center of Chicago will be on your right at 2201 S Pulaski Rd, Chicago, IL 60623. Parking is available on the street or in nearby lots, but be mindful of any posted parking restrictions.

  • Public Transportation (Bus and Train)

    To reach the Geographic Center of Chicago using public transportation, start from downtown Chicago. Board the CTA 'Pink Line' train at the 18th stop towards the 54th/Cermak station. Ride for about 8 stops (approximately 20 minutes) and get off at the Pulaski station. From there, transfer to the #75 bus route at the Pulaski station. Take the #75 bus heading south for 3 stops and get off at the 2200 block of S Pulaski Rd. The Geographic Center of Chicago will be right across the street from the bus stop. Note that a single ride fare for the CTA is $2.50, and you may need to load your Ventra card or pay in cash.
