Walking
If you are in the heart of Cicero, start at the Cicero Avenue and 16th Street intersection. Head south on Cicero Avenue until you reach 18th Street. Turn right on 18th Street and continue walking for about 1 mile. You will pass various shops and local eateries along the way. After crossing Pulaski Road, keep an eye out for the park entrance on your left. Douglass Park is located at 1401 S Sacramento Dr, Chicago, IL 60623.
Public Transit
From Cicero, take the CTA Pink Line train from the Cicero station (located at 18th and Cicero). Ride the train towards 18th and Damen. Get off at the Kedzie stop. Once you exit the station, walk west on 21st Street until you reach Sacramento Drive, then turn left. Continue walking south until you reach Douglass Park at 1401 S Sacramento Dr, Chicago, IL 60623.
Biking
If you prefer to bike, start from downtown Cicero and head south on Cicero Avenue. Once you reach 18th Street, turn right and continue biking for about a mile. After crossing Pulaski Road, look for bike lanes as you approach Douglass Park. The park entrance will be on your left at 1401 S Sacramento Dr, Chicago, IL 60623.
