Public Transport
To get to Gold Coast in Chicago from Naperville, first walk to the Naperville Metra Station located at 105 E 4th Ave. Take the Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) Line toward Chicago Union Station. The train ride will take approximately 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Union Station, exit the train and follow signs to the 'Ogilvie Transportation Center'. From there, transfer to the 'Chicago Transit Authority' (CTA) trains. Take the Pink Line towards 18th and get off at the Damen stop. Then, transfer to the Blue Line towards O'Hare and get off at the Clark/Lake stop. Finally, exit the station and walk east towards the Gold Coast area, which is about a 15-minute walk from the station.

Walking
If you are near the downtown Naperville area, simply walk to the Naperville Riverwalk and follow it northeast until you reach the intersection with Aurora Ave. Turn left on Aurora Ave and continue walking until you reach the Naperville Metra Station. From there, follow the public transport directions to Gold Coast.

Bike Rental
You can also rent a bike from one of the local bike rental shops in Naperville. Head towards the Naperville Riverwalk and follow the bike path that leads to Aurora Ave. Once you reach Aurora Ave, bike towards the Metra Station. After reaching the station, take the train as described in the public transport section to reach Gold Coast.
