Continue on Harlem Ave for approximately 2 miles, then turn right onto Madison St. After about 0.5 miles, turn left onto Forest Ave. The Arthur Heurtley House will be on your left at 318 Forest Ave, Oak Park, IL 60302. Public Transportation - Train
For those using public transportation, take the Metra Union Pacific West Line train from downtown Chicago's Ogilvie Transportation Center. Board the train heading towards Elburn and get off at the Oak Park station. From the Oak Park station, you can either walk or take a bus. If walking, head southeast on N Marion St for about 0.5 miles, then turn right onto Madison St and continue for 0.3 miles. Turn left onto Forest Ave, and you will find Arthur Heurtley House at 318 Forest Ave, Oak Park, IL 60302. If you prefer to take a bus, you can catch the Pace bus #307 from the Oak Park station to the stop at Madison St & Forest Ave, which is just a short walk to the house.
Public Transportation - Bus
If you're closer to a bus stop, you can take the CTA's Green Line train to the Central station. From there, transfer to the #20 Madison bus towards Cicero Ave and get off at Madison St & Forest Ave. Walk south on Forest Ave for about 2 blocks, and you will arrive at Arthur Heurtley House located at 318 Forest Ave, Oak Park, IL 60302. Be aware that bus fares are typically around $2.50.
