Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving, Cantigny is located at 1 S, 151 Winfield Rd, Wheaton, IL 60189. From downtown Chicago, take I-290 W toward Lombard. Merge onto I-88 W and continue for approximately 25 miles. Take the exit for IL-56 W/Farnsworth Ave. Continue on IL-56 W and merge onto IL-38 W. Follow IL-38 W for about 7 miles, then turn left onto Winfield Rd. Cantigny will be on your right after about 1.5 miles. Parking is available on-site, typically at no cost.

• Public Transportation (Metra)

  To reach Cantigny via public transportation, take the Metra train from downtown Chicago's Union Station on the Union Pacific West Line. Purchase a ticket to Wheaton station, which costs around $5.00 one way. The train ride takes approximately 50 minutes. Once you arrive at Wheaton station, you can either take a taxi (approximately $10-$15) or use a rideshare app to get to Cantigny, which is about 3 miles away. Alternatively, you can walk or bike from the station, which would take around 40 minutes.

• Public Transportation (Bus)

  You can also use the Pace Bus service to get to Cantigny. From downtown Chicago, take the Pace Bus Route 303 (West Chicago-Wheaton) from the nearest bus stop to your location. The fare is approximately $2.00. Get off at the stop closest to Cantigny, which is near Winfield Rd and Roosevelt Rd, then walk approximately 0.5 miles to reach the park entrance.
