Merge onto I-90 W and continue for about 6 miles. Take exit 49A for IL-171 S toward Brookfield. Merge onto IL-171 S (Ogden Ave) and continue for approximately 3 miles. Turn right onto Barrypoint Rd, and Hofmann Tower State Historic Site will be on your left at 3910 Barrypoint Rd, Lyons, IL 60534. Free parking is available right next to the tower.

    For public transportation, start by taking the Metra train from downtown Chicago. Board a train on the BNSF Railway Line at Union Station, heading toward Aurora. Get off at the Brookfield station. From there, you can take a bus (Pace Route 330) heading southbound. Get off at the stop at Ogden Ave & Barrypoint Rd.
