Walking
From the University of Chicago's main quadrangles, walk south on Woodlawn Avenue towards 59th Street. The Rockefeller Memorial Chapel will be visible on your left, towering over the Midway Plaisance.
Public Transport
From downtown Chicago, take the Metra train from Millennium Station to the 59th Street station. From there, walk one block west to reach the chapel. A single fare on Metra costs $2 - $5.
Taxi/Ride-share
Taxis and ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft are readily available in Chicago. A ride from downtown to Rockefeller Memorial Chapel typically costs $24 - $29 and takes approximately 13 minutes.
Driving
From Lake Shore Drive, exit at 57th Street (Museum of Science and Industry) and drive four blocks west to Stony Island Avenue, then south to 59th Street, then two blocks west. Limited street parking is available around Rockefeller Chapel, and is free on evenings and weekends. The Lexington Parking Lot at 5835 S. University Avenue is nearby, but is generally restricted to permit parking during the day. Parking garages are also available in the area. Expect to pay around $2-3 for tolls.
