Getting There

• Walking

  The Old Blacksmith Shop is located at 245 N Commerce St in downtown Galena. From most points in the downtown area, it's easily accessible on foot. From the intersection of Main Street and Commerce Street, walk north on Commerce Street for a few blocks. The shop will be on your left. Sidewalks are well-maintained, but be aware of occasional unevenness due to the historic nature of the area.

• Public Transport

  Galena offers a free shuttle service on Saturdays and Sundays from June through October, with stops throughout downtown. Check the 'Ride Galena' shuttle map for the nearest stop to your location and the Old Blacksmith Shop. The general public can use the Jo Daviess County Transit for transportation within Galena on weekdays and Saturdays for a fare of $0.50 each way. A 24-hour advance notice is required.
