Getting There

Walking

From Elgin City Hall (150 Dexter Court), walk south on Dexter Court to Highland Avenue, then turn right. Continue to Division Street and turn left. The Elgin Art Showcase is located at 164 Division Street, approximately 0.3 miles on your right. There are no costs associated with this route.
Public Transport

From the Elgin Metra station, head east on Douglas Avenue. At the first intersection, turn left onto Division Street. You can catch the Pace bus #801 at the bus stop near the station which will take you closer to downtown Elgin. Get off at the stop at Division Street and State Street. From there, walk south on Division Street for two blocks, and you will find the Elgin Art Showcase at 164 Division St. Pace bus fare is around $2 for a single ride.
Driving

The Elgin Art Showcase is located at 164 Division Street in downtown Elgin. Parking is free in city-owned surface lots and parking decks for up to 72 hours. Street parking is also available, but limited to two hours between 8 AM and 5 PM, Monday through Friday. Beginning in October of 2021, a new on-street parking regulation went into effect, restricting parking from 4:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. within the Central Business District.

This Gothic Revival-style building was once the tallest and most glamorous in Elgin, housing offices for doctors, lawyers, and dentists. Today, it continues to be a prominent fixture in the city's skyline, blending historical charm with modern functionality.
