If you are driving from the Fox Valley area, start by getting onto IL-31 N from your location. Follow IL-31 N for approximately 20 miles until you reach the I-90 E ramp towards Chicago. Merge onto I-90 E and continue for about 30 miles. Take exit 50B for Ohio St toward US-41 S. Merge onto Ohio St and continue straight. Turn right onto N State St and then take another right onto E Erie St. The Richard H. Driehaus Museum will be on your right at 50 E Erie St, Chicago, IL 60611. Be prepared for potential parking fees in the area.

For public transportation, start by taking the Pace Bus Route 801 or 803 from any nearby Fox Valley location to the Elgin Transportation Center. From there, transfer to the Metra Union Pacific Northwest Line towards Chicago. Once you arrive at the Ogilvie Transportation Center, walk to the Washington/Wells subway station and take the Brown Line train towards Kimball.
