From the Galena Historic District, head north on S Main St toward W Hill St. Continue straight onto N Main St. After about 0.5 miles, turn left onto W Blackjack Rd. Follow W Blackjack Rd for approximately 1 mile until you reach the intersection with N Blackjack Rd. Turn right onto N Blackjack Rd, and in about 0.7 miles, you'll find Horseshoe Mound Preserve at 1679 N Blackjack Rd on your left. There is no entry fee for the preserve.
