The Old Blacksmith Shop is located at 245 N Commerce St, in Galena's historic downtown, making it easily accessible on foot from most central locations. From Main Street, walk north on Commerce Street. The shop will be on your left, a short distance from the Galena River and Galena Grant Park. No costs are associated with walking.
Public Transport
Jo Daviess County Transit provides public transportation within the City of Galena on weekdays and Saturdays. The general fare is $0.50 each way, but a 24-hour advance notice is required. If driving, navigate to 245 N Commerce St, Galena, IL 61036. Parking in downtown Galena can be limited, especially during peak tourist season. Free parking is available on Spring Street, just past the intersection of U.S. 20 and Bench Street/Riverside Drive. There is also a paid parking lot north of downtown on Meeker Street for $5 per day on weekends. From either parking location, it's a short walk to the Old Blacksmith Shop.
