The Dowling House is located at 220 Diagonal Street in Galena's downtown historic district. From the Galena Visitor Center, walk south on Main Street towards Diagonal Street. Turn right onto Diagonal Street, and the Dowling House will be on your left. The walk takes approximately 15-20 minutes.
