Klepzig Mill, nestled in the Ozark National Scenic Riverways near Winona, Missouri, is a historic turbine mill built in 1928 by Walter Klepzig. Driving
From Winona, Missouri, drive east on Highway H for 10 miles, then turn right onto Highway NN. Continue for 5 miles to the end of the pavement, passing the turn for Rocky Falls. Turn left onto County Road NN522, a gravel road. The mill is 1.1 miles on the right. Note: The road is unmaintained and may be difficult for low-clearance vehicles. Parking is limited to a small pull-off area.
Hiking
The Klepzig Mill Trail is a 6-mile out-and-back hike starting at Rocky Falls, traversing north on the Ozark Trail. The trail passes through Buzzard Mountain and ends at Klepzig Mill and Rocky Creek. This is a relatively flat and easy hike with some moderate inclines.
