    From Matthiessen State Park, exit the park and head west on IL-178 N. After about 1 mile, turn left onto IL-71 W. Continue on IL-71 W for approximately 5 miles until you reach the intersection with IL-351. Turn right onto IL-351 N and follow the road for about 3 miles. Then, turn left onto IL-71 W again. Follow IL-71 W for another mile, and then make a right onto E 4th Rd. After about half a mile, you'll see signs for Starved Rock State Park on your left. The park entrance is located at 2678 E 875th Rd, Oglesby, IL 61348.

    While direct public transportation options are limited, you can take a regional bus from the L-P Transit service. Start by walking to the nearest bus stop in Oglesby or LaSalle. You will take the bus that heads towards the LaSalle train station. From there, you can connect to a train that travels toward the Oglesby area.
