Continue on I-55 N for approximately 45 miles, then take exit 75A for IL-251 N toward Peru. Merge onto IL-251 N and continue for about 12 miles. Take the exit toward IL-178 S and merge onto IL-178 S. Continue on IL-178 for approximately 5 miles until you reach Matthiessen State Park, located at 2500 IL-178, Oglesby, IL 61348. Parking is available at the park entrance, which may incur a small fee depending on the time of your visit.
