    The Dowling House is located at 220 Diagonal Street in Galena's downtown historic district. From Main Street, walk west towards Diagonal Street. The Dowling House is a short walk up the hill on Diagonal Street.

    Parking

    Several parking options are available in Galena, including free and paid lots. Free all-day parking is available on Spring Street, west of the river, and at the Depot Park Lot on the east side of the river. Paid parking is available at the City Hall parking lot (101 Green Street) and in the 400 block of South Main Street. All-day parking at the Meeker Street lot is $5 on weekends and free Monday-Friday. Parking can be paid via the ParkMobile app. Be aware that parking can be limited during busy times. The cost for all-day parking in the downtown area is $10.
