Once you arrive at LaSalle Street Station, exit the train station and head northeast on LaSalle St toward W Jackson Blvd. Continue walking for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection of LaSalle St and Michigan Ave. Turn left onto Michigan Ave and walk for about 0.2 miles. The American Writers Museum will be on your right at 180 North Michigan Ave.

    From the Oak Lawn Village Hall, located at 9446 S Raymond Ave, take the Pace Bus Route 349 towards the Chicago Midway Airport. Get off at the Midway Airport Transit Center stop and transfer to the CTA Orange Line train towards the Loop. Ride the train until you reach the State/Lake station. From State/Lake, exit the station and walk two blocks east on Lake St until you reach Michigan Ave. Turn right and walk south for about 0.2 miles. The American Writers Museum will be on your left at 180 North Michigan Ave.
