Getting There

  • Public Transit - Train

    If you are in Oak Lawn, walk to the Oak Lawn Metra Station located at 95th St and Southwest Hwy. Take the Metra's SouthWest Service train towards Union Station in Chicago. Once you arrive at Union Station, exit the station and walk to the nearby Clark/Lake station to transfer to the 'L' train. Take the Green Line or Pink Line towards 18th or Kedzie, and transfer to the Brown Line at the State/Lake station. Get off at the Washington/Wells station. From there, it's about a 10-minute walk to the Chicago Architecture Center located at 111 E Wacker Dr. Head east on W Washington St toward N Wells St, turn left on N Wells St, then turn right on E Wacker Dr.

    From anywhere in Oak Lawn, walk to the nearest bus stop that services the 349 bus route. Take the Pace Bus 349 towards the Midway Airport. This bus will take you to the Orange Line Midway station. From there, take the Orange Line train towards the Loop. Get off at the State and Adams station, then walk two blocks east to the Chicago Architecture Center located at 111 E Wacker Dr.
