Getting There

• Public Transportation

  To get to the Chicago Beer Experience Beer Tours, start by heading to the nearest public transportation stop in Oak Lawn. The Oak Lawn Metra Station is a convenient starting point. Once you arrive at the station, board an inbound train on the Metra's SouthWest Service line towards Chicago Union Station. The train journey will take approximately 30 minutes. When you arrive at the Union Station, exit and follow the signs to the 'C' exit leading to the street level. After exiting, walk one block east towards Wells Street. From here, transfer to the CTA bus route 126 (Jackson) at the bus stop on Wells Street. Ride the bus for about 15 minutes and get off at the stop at State Street & 19th. Walk one block east to reach the Chicago Beer Experience Beer Tours, located at 1900 S State St.

  If you prefer to walk, start by heading to the Oak Lawn Community Park District, which is a central point in Oak Lawn. From there, walk north along S Cicero Ave towards W 95th St. After about 15 minutes, you will reach the 95th Street Station for the CTA Red Line. Board the train heading towards Howard. After about 25 minutes, get off at the 35th-Bronzeville-IIT Station. From the station, walk east along 35th Street for about 10 minutes until you reach State Street. Turn right and walk south for another 5 minutes to reach the Chicago Beer Experience Beer Tours.

• Bicycle

  If you enjoy cycling, rent a bike from a local bike rental shop in Oak Lawn. Start your ride by heading north on S Cicero Ave, following the bike lanes. Continue until you reach 95th Street, then take a left. Follow 95th Street until you reach the intersection with S State St. Turn right on S State St and continue riding south for approximately 4 miles. The Chicago Beer Experience Beer Tours is located on the right side at 1900 S State St. Make sure to follow all traffic rules and use bike lanes where available.
