Getting There

• Public Transit

  To get to the Crown Fountain located at 201 E Randolph St, Chicago, IL 60602 from Oak Lawn, start by walking to the nearest Metra station, Oak Lawn Station. Board the Metra train on the SouthWest Service line towards Chicago Union Station. The train ride will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Union Station, exit the station and head to the nearby 'Union Station Transit Center' where you can catch a CTA bus or the 'L' train. If you prefer the 'L', take the Orange Line towards Midway and transfer at the Harold Washington Library station to the Blue Line towards O'Hare. Get off at Washington/Wells and transfer to the 'L' Loop train to reach State/Lake station. From State/Lake, walk east along Randolph St for about 10 minutes until you reach Millennium Park where the Crown Fountain is located.

• Bus

  To reach Crown Fountain from Oak Lawn, walk to the nearest bus stop (located along Cicero Ave) and take the Pace Bus Route 349 towards the Midway Airport. After approximately 25 minutes, get off at the 'Cicero and 63rd' stop. Transfer to the CTA Orange Line train at the Pulaski station, heading towards the Loop. Ride for about 25 minutes and disembark at the Washington/Wells station. From there, walk east for about 10 minutes to reach 201 E Randolph St, where you will find the Crown Fountain in Millennium Park.

• Biking

  If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bike from a nearby bike-sharing station in Oak Lawn. Head north on Cicero Ave towards Chicago, following the designated bike lanes. Continue until you reach the 63rd St intersection, where you can connect to the bike path leading directly to Chicago. Once you arrive in downtown Chicago, follow signs for Millennium Park. Upon entering the park, the Crown Fountain will be on your left at 201 E Randolph St.

• Walking

  If you are feeling adventurous, you can walk from Oak Lawn to the Crown Fountain, but be prepared for a long journey of approximately 10 miles. Start by heading north on Cicero Ave until you reach 95th St. Turn left on 95th and continue until you reach the pedestrian bridge over the I-55 highway. Once across, continue straight until you reach the downtown area. From there, navigate towards Millennium Park, where the Crown Fountain is located at 201 E Randolph St. This will take approximately 2 to 3 hours of walking, so ensure you're prepared with comfortable shoes and water.
