Public Transport
If you're in Oak Lawn, head to the nearest 'Metra' train station. The Oak Lawn Metra Station is located at 95th Street and Cook Avenue. Board a train on the 'Southwest Service' line heading towards Chicago Union Station. After about a 30-minute ride, get off at the 'Pulaski' station. From there, transfer to the CTA 'Pink Line' train at the Pulaski station. Board the Pink Line towards 54th/Cermak and get off at the 'California' stop. From the California station, walk north on California Avenue for about 7 minutes, then turn right onto North Central Park Avenue. The Garfield Park Conservatory will be on your left at 300 N Central Park Ave.

If you are already in Oak Lawn and prefer to walk, you can start from the Oak Lawn Village Hall located at 9446 S. Raymond Ave. Walk north until you reach the intersection with 95th Street. From there, head east on 95th Street until you reach the Oak Lawn Metra Station. Follow the instructions for public transport once you reach the Metra station.

You can take the Pace bus service to reach the Garfield Park Conservatory. If you are near the Oak Lawn Metra station, catch the Pace Bus #379 which travels towards the Chicago area. Ride the bus until you reach the 'Pulaski & 16th' stop. From there, transfer to the CTA bus #53 (Pulaski) heading north. Ride this bus until you reach the 'Central Park & 300 N Central Park Ave' stop. The Garfield Park Conservatory will be a short walk from there.
