Public Transit - Bus
If you are starting from Oak Lawn's Village Hall, walk to the nearest bus stop at 95th St & Cicero Ave. From there, take the Pace Bus #349 towards 95th & Cottage Grove. Ride the bus for approximately 20 minutes until you reach the 95th St & Western Ave stop. Transfer to the CTA Orange Line train at the Western stop. Board the train towards Midway, and ride until you reach the State & Randolph stop in downtown Chicago. From there, transfer to the Red Line and head north towards Howard. Get off at the Clark/Division stop, and from there, it's a short 10-minute walk to the Gold Coast area.

From Oak Lawn station, board the Metra Southwest Service train towards Chicago Union Station. After about 30 minutes, you will arrive at the Union Station. Once at Union Station, exit and walk to the nearby State Street station to catch the CTA Red Line. Board the train heading north towards Howard and exit at Clark/Division station. From there, it's a 10-minute walk to the Gold Coast area.

If you are already in Oak Lawn, you can enjoy a long scenic walk. Start from the Oak Lawn Village Green Park and head north towards 95th Street. Continue walking along 95th Street until you reach Cicero Avenue. From there, walk to the nearest bus stop to catch public transportation, or continue walking north for about 8 miles. Follow Cicero Avenue until you reach the intersection with North Avenue, then make a left and continue for about a mile to reach the Gold Coast area.
