If you are starting from the Woodfield Mall area, walk to the Woodfield Mall bus stop. Take the Pace #606 bus towards Chicago. Stay on the bus until you reach the State & Washington stop. From there, transfer to the CTA Red Line train at the State/Lake station. Take the train heading north towards Howard. Get off at the Clark/Division station. Exit the station and walk east on Division Street until you reach Lake Shore Drive. Turn right (south) on Lake Shore Drive and walk until you reach 1524 N Lake Shore Dr. The International Museum of Surgical Science will be on your left.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local rental stations near Woodfield Mall. Start by heading east on Golf Road until you reach the intersection with Route 53. Turn right and continue south until you can merge onto the paved bike path along the highway. Follow the bike path south towards Chicago. Once you approach the city, follow the signs directing you toward Lake Shore Drive. Once on Lake Shore Drive, continue north until you reach 1524 N Lake Shore Dr, where the museum is located.

If you're near the Schaumburg Town Square, you can walk to the nearest bus stop to catch public transportation. From the Town Square, head southeast on Roselle Rd towards the bus stop at the intersection with Schaumburg Rd. Take the Pace #602 bus towards Chicago. After getting off at the State & Washington stop, walk to the State/Lake station to catch the CTA Red Line train. Get off at the Clark/Division station. From there, walk east on Division Street, turn right onto Lake Shore Drive, and continue walking south until you reach 1524 N Lake Shore Dr, where the museum is located.
