From Oak Lawn, walk to the nearest Metra station, which is the Oak Lawn Station on the SouthWest Service Line. Take the train heading towards Chicago Union Station. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the 55th/56th/57th St. station. From there, transfer to the #6 Jackson Park Express bus. Board the bus and ride for about 5-10 minutes until you reach the stop at Stony Island Ave & 63rd St. From the bus stop, walk north on Stony Island Ave for about 5 minutes. You will arrive at Jackson Park, located at 6401 S Stony Island Ave.

If you are near the Oak Lawn Village Hall, head east toward Cicero Ave. Once you reach Cicero Ave, turn left and walk north until you reach the 95th Street station. From there, you can take the #95 bus heading east. Get off at Stony Island Ave and walk south for about 10 minutes to reach Jackson Park.
