From Cicero, head to the nearest CTA Blue Line station, which is located at 18th and Cicero. Take the train towards O'Hare and travel for 5 stops until you reach the 'Pulaski' station. Change to the Pink Line by following the signs to the Pink Line platform and board the train towards 18th. Ride for 4 stops until you reach the 'Damen' station. From there, transfer to the Green Line 'Central' train towards Ashland. Ride for 4 stops until you reach the 'King Drive' station. Finally, walk east on 51st Street for about 10 minutes until you reach 5801 S Ellis Ave, The University of Chicago.

From Cicero, find the nearest bus stop for the CTA bus route 49 (Western). Board the bus heading south and ride for approximately 15 minutes until you reach the stop at 55th Street and Western. From there, transfer to the CTA bus route 55 (Pulaski) heading east. Stay on this bus for about 10 minutes, then get off at 51st Street. Walk east for about 5 minutes to reach 5801 S Ellis Ave, The University of Chicago.

If you are near the Cicero Avenue and 26th Street intersection, head south on Cicero Avenue towards 31st Street. Continue walking for about 30 minutes until you reach 31st Street.
