Getting There

• Public Transit

  From Oak Lawn, head to the nearest Metra station, Oak Lawn Station. Take the Metra Electric Line towards Millennium Station in Chicago. The train ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Millennium Station, exit the platform and follow the signs to the exit. After exiting, walk towards Michigan Avenue and turn left. Continue walking until you reach East Lake Street. Turn right on East Lake Street and proceed until you reach North State Street. Turn left on North State Street, and the Medieval Torture Museum will be on your left at 177 N State St.

• Bus

  From the Oak Lawn area, head to the nearest bus stop for Pace Bus Route 382. Board the bus heading towards the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) Blue Line station. Ride the bus for approximately 20 minutes and get off at the CTA Blue Line station. Once there, transfer to the CTA Blue Line train towards O'Hare. Ride for about 30 minutes until you reach the Clark/Lake station. Upon exiting the station, walk towards State Street, turn right, and head south on State Street until you reach 177 N State St, where the Medieval Torture Museum is located.

• Walking

  If you are staying in Oak Lawn and prefer walking, start from the Oak Lawn Village Hall located at 9446 S Raymond Ave. Head north on Raymond Avenue until you reach W 95th Street. Turn right on W 95th Street and walk until you reach the Oak Lawn Metra Station. From there, take the Metra train as described above to reach Chicago. Remember that walking all the way to the Medieval Torture Museum would take several hours, so public transit is recommended.
