Public Transit
From Oak Lawn, head to the nearest Metra station, which is the Oak Lawn station on the SouthWest Service Line. Board a train heading toward Chicago Union Station. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Union Station, exit the train station and walk to the nearby 'Clark/Lake' station on the 'L' (Chicago Transit Authority elevated train). Take the 'Brown', 'Green', or 'Pink' line train northbound to 'Washington/Wells' station. After disembarking, follow the signs to the 'State/Lake' station and switch to the 'Red' line. Board the 'Red' line train heading north to 'Monroe' station. Exit at 'Monroe', and walk four blocks east on Monroe Street until you reach Millennium Park, located at 201 E Randolph St, Chicago, IL 60602.

Bus
From Oak Lawn, find the nearest bus stop for the Pace bus service. Take the Pace Bus #349 heading towards the 'Cicero Ave & 95th St' stop. This will take approximately 20 minutes. Once you arrive at the stop, transfer to the CTA bus #X49 or #49 bus at the Cicero station heading towards downtown Chicago. Ride for about 30 minutes until you reach the 'State & Washington' stop. From there, walk two blocks east on Washington Street, and then take a left on State Street. Walk three blocks north until you arrive at Millennium Park located at 201 E Randolph St, Chicago, IL 60602.

If you are staying nearby Oak Lawn and prefer to walk, you can follow a scenic route. Start at the Oak Lawn Village Hall and head north on Cicero Avenue until you reach the 95th Street station. From there, take the Metra train to Chicago Union Station. After disembarking, you can walk towards the river and along the riverwalk towards Millennium Park. The walk will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes but will offer beautiful views of the city.
