Public Transit
From Oak Lawn, head to the nearest train station, the Oak Lawn Metra Station, located at 105th St and Cicero Ave. Take the Metra Rock Island District line towards Chicago. After approximately 30 minutes, disembark at the LaSalle Street Station in downtown Chicago. From LaSalle Street Station, walk to the nearby State/Lake station (about 5 minutes). Take the 'L' train on the Green Line towards Ashland. Travel for 5 stops and get off at the 18th station. From there, it's a 15-minute walk to Soldier Field. Head east on 18th St, turn left onto S Michigan Ave, and then turn right onto Special Olympics Dr, where Soldier Field is located.

From Oak Lawn, you can take the Pace Bus route 379. Board the bus at the nearest stop on Cicero Ave. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the 95th/Dan Ryan CTA Station. From there, take the Red Line train towards Howard. After 8 stops, get off at the 35th-Bronzeville-IIT station. From the station, it's about a 20-minute walk to Soldier Field. Walk east on 35th St, then turn left onto S Michigan Ave, and finally turn right onto Special Olympics Dr.

If you are in the central part of Oak Lawn, you can take a scenic walking route to Soldier Field. Start by heading east on 95th St towards Cicero Ave. Once you reach Cicero Ave, head north until you reach 87th St. Continue walking east on 87th St until you reach the Metra station. From there, take the Metra as described above to get to Soldier Field.
