Getting There

• Public Transportation - Train

  From Schaumburg, head to the closest train station, which is the Schaumburg Metra Station located at 1000 W. Golf Rd. Take the Metra Union Pacific Northwest Line towards Chicago. Once on the train, stay on for about 45 minutes until you reach the Ogilvie Transportation Center in downtown Chicago. From Ogilvie, transfer to the CTA Pink Line or Blue Line and get off at the 18th station, which is the Damen station. From there, walk approximately 15 minutes southeast to reach Soldier Field at 1410 Special Olympics Dr, Chicago, IL 60605.

• Public Transportation - Bus

  Start at the nearest bus stop to your location in Schaumburg. Take the Pace Bus Route 607 towards the Rosemont Bus Terminal. Ride for about 25 minutes until you reach the Rosemont CTA station. From there, take the Blue Line train towards Forest Park. Get off at the Washington station (approximately 30 minutes). Transfer to the Pink Line at the Damen station, and then head towards 18th station. Once you arrive, it's a 15-minute walk south to Soldier Field at 1410 Special Olympics Dr, Chicago, IL 60605.

• Walking

  If you are already in the Schaumburg area, you can enjoy a scenic walk to Soldier Field. Start from the Woodfield Mall and head south along the streets. Walk towards the intersection of Golf Rd and Meacham Rd. Continue south until you reach the Metra station at 1000 W. Golf Rd. From there, follow the bike path that leads directly into the park areas that connect to the city, passing through the scenic paths. It will take you about 1.5 hours to reach Soldier Field at 1410 Special Olympics Dr, Chicago, IL 60605.
