Public Transportation
From Oak Lawn, head to the nearest Metra station, which is the Oak Lawn Station located at 105th Street and Cicero Avenue. Board a train on the SouthWest Service Line heading towards Chicago Union Station. The journey will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Union Station, exit the station and walk to the nearby CTA train station. Take the 'Pink Line' train towards 54th/Cermak. After a few stops, transfer to the 'State/Lake' station. From State/Lake, walk northeast for about 5 minutes on State Street until you reach The Chicago Theatre at 175 N State St.
Bus
Catch the Pace Bus Route 379 from Oak Lawn at the nearest bus stop. The bus will take you towards the Midway Airport area. At the Midway Airport, transfer to the CTA Orange Line train towards 'Loop' and ride it until you reach the 'State/Lake' station. After getting off, walk northeast on State Street for about 5 minutes, and you will arrive at The Chicago Theatre located at 175 N State St.
Walking from a Nearby Location
If you happen to be near the Oak Lawn Village Hall at 9446 S. Raymond Ave, you can walk to The Chicago Theatre. Start by heading north on Raymond Ave until you reach 95th Street. Turn right onto 95th Street and continue walking until you reach Cicero Avenue. From there, you can either catch a bus going to the Metra station or simply walk to the Oak Lawn Metra Station and follow the public transportation routes mentioned above.
