Start by walking to the Palatine Metra Station located at 137 W Wood St. From there, take the Union Pacific Northwest Line train towards Chicago. The train will take approximately 40 minutes to reach the Ogilvie Transportation Center in downtown Chicago. Once you arrive at Ogilvie, exit the station and walk towards the Washington/Wells station (about a 10-minute walk). Transfer to the 'Brown Line' train towards Kimball. Get off at the 'Sedgwick' station. From there, it's a 15-minute walk to the Alfred Caldwell Lily Pool. Head east on W North Ave, then turn right onto N Lincoln Park West. Continue straight until you reach W Fullerton Pkwy, where you will find the pool on your left.

From your location in Palatine, walk to the nearest bus stop that services the Pace bus route. Take the Pace bus route 696 towards the Arlington Heights Metra Station. This bus will take you to the Arlington Heights Metra Station. From there, board the Union Pacific Northwest Line train towards Chicago. After approximately 40 minutes, you will arrive at the Ogilvie Transportation Center. Once you’re there, walk to the nearby Washington/Wells station and catch the 'Brown Line' train towards Kimball. Disembark at the 'Sedgwick' station, then walk east on W North Ave, turn right on N Lincoln Park West and follow it until you reach W Fullerton Pkwy.
