Train
From Palatine, head to the Palatine Metra Station located at 137 W Wood St. Take the Union Pacific Northwest Line train towards Chicago. The total travel time is approximately 40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Ogilvie Transportation Center in Chicago, exit the train and follow the signs to the street exit.

After exiting Ogilvie Transportation Center, head southeast on W Adams St toward N Canal St. Continue straight, then turn right onto N Canal St. Walk for about 0.5 miles until you reach Wacker Dr. Turn left onto Wacker Dr, and the Chicago Architecture Center will be on your right at 111 E Wacker Dr.

From Palatine, go to the Palatine Metra Station and board the Pace Bus Route 696, which travels towards the Arlington Heights Train Station. Transfer at the Arlington Heights Train Station to the Metra Union Pacific Northwest Line train heading towards Chicago. Alight at the Ogilvie Transportation Center, and follow the same walking directions provided above to reach the Chicago Architecture Center.
