Public Transit - Bus
From the center of Palatine, walk to the nearest bus stop on Dundee Rd & Smith St. Take the Pace Bus route 696 heading towards the South. Stay on the bus for about 50 minutes until you reach the stop at Archer & Kedzie. From there, transfer to the CTA Bus #62. Ride this bus for about 20 minutes until you reach the stop at 21st & China Pl. Walk a short distance north on China Pl, and you will arrive at Chinatown Square Plaza, located at 2133 S China Pl, Chicago.
Public Transit - Train
Head to the Palatine Metra Station. Board the Metra train on the Union Pacific Northwest Line towards Chicago. Stay on the train for about 30 minutes and get off at the Ogilvie Transportation Center. From there, transfer to the CTA Pink Line train at Damen Station. Take the Pink Line train towards 18th and get off at the 18th stop. Walk east towards China Pl for about 15 minutes, and you will arrive at Chinatown Square Plaza, 2133 S China Pl, Chicago.
Walking
If you are already in Palatine, it is advisable to use public transit options, as the distance to Chinatown Square Plaza is significant for walking. However, if you are staying close to a train station, you can walk to the Palatine Metra Station and follow the train directions mentioned above. For those who want a scenic walk, consider walking towards the nearest public transit stops instead.
