Train
From Palatine, walk to the Palatine Metra Station located at 137 W Wood St. Board the Union Pacific Northwest Line train heading towards Chicago. The journey will take approximately 50 minutes. Disembark at the Ogilvie Transportation Center. Once at Ogilvie, follow the signs to transfer to the CTA 'L' trains.

At Ogilvie Transportation Center, take the CTA Brown Line or Pink Line train towards the Loop. Get off at the Washington/Wells station. From there, transfer to the Orange, Green, or Pink Line trains heading toward the State/Lake station.

After arriving at the State/Lake station, exit the station and walk east on W Madison St towards N State St. Turn right on N State St and continue walking south. Then, turn left onto E Randolph St. Continue walking until you reach the Crown Fountain located at 201 E Randolph St, Millennium Park. The distance is about 0.5 miles and should take approximately 10 minutes.
