Public Bus
From downtown Palatine, head to the Palatine Metra Station located at 137 W Wood St. Take the Metra train on the Union Pacific Northwest Line towards Chicago. Disembark at the 'Clybourn' station, which is approximately 40 minutes away. Once you arrive at the Clybourn station, exit and walk west on Clybourn Ave for about 5 minutes until you reach Lincoln Park.
Bicycle
Start at the Palatine Park District and head south on Smith St. Turn left onto W Dundee Rd and follow the bike lane for approximately 1.5 miles until you reach the intersection with N Wilke Rd. Turn right onto Wilke Rd and continue for another mile until you reach the busier intersection with N River Rd. From there, head east towards the bike paths leading to Lincoln Park. The total ride would take around 45 minutes.
Walking
If you're starting from the Palatine Village Hall located at 200 E Wood St, walk east towards N Smith St. Turn right on Smith St and continue until you reach W Dundee Rd. Cross W Dundee Rd and continue south along N Quentin Rd. Follow the pedestrian walkways and paths that connect through local parks and residential areas until you reach the nearby Metra train station. From there, you can take a train to Chicago and follow the earlier mentioned instructions to get to Lincoln Park.
