    From Palatine Metra Station, board the Union Pacific Northwest Line train towards Chicago. The journey to Chicago Union Station takes approximately 45 minutes. Once you arrive at Union Station, follow the signs to the 'Ogilvie Transportation Center' exit. After exiting, walk towards the nearby Washington/Wells station and transfer to the 'Brown Line' or 'Pink Line' subway. Head towards the 'Washington/Wells' stop and get off at the 'State/Lake' station. From there, transfer to the 'Red Line' towards 'Howard'. Get off at 'Clark/Lake' station and transfer to the 'Orange Line' or 'Green Line', heading towards the 'Washington/Wells' stop. Finally, walk east on Randolph St for approximately 8 minutes until you reach Maggie Daley Park at 337 E Randolph St.

    From the Palatine Main Street, catch the Pace Bus Route 696 towards 'Schaumburg Mall'. Get off at the 'Schaumburg Mall' stop and transfer to the 'Pace Bus Route 550' heading towards 'Woodfield Mall'. Once you arrive at Woodfield Mall, transfer to the 'Pace Bus Route 606' heading towards 'Harwood Heights'. Get off at the 'Harwood Heights' stop and transfer to the 'CTA Blue Line' at the 'Harwood Heights' station. Ride towards the downtown area and get off at 'UIC-Halsted'. Transfer to the 'Pink Line' and ride to '18th' station. From there, walk northwest to the 'Pink Line' station, take the 'Brown Line' and head to the 'Washington/Wells' station, then follow the steps above to reach Maggie Daley Park.

    Rent a bicycle from one of the bike-sharing services available in Palatine. Start by cycling east on Dundee Rd towards the bike path. Follow the bike path south until you reach the intersection with the Cook County Forest Preserve. Continue onto the 'Des Plaines River Trail' heading south. This trail will take you through scenic areas and parks. After approximately 10 miles, you’ll reach the 'Lakefront Trail'. From there, head north along the Lakefront Trail until you reach the intersection with Randolph St. Turn right on Randolph St and continue for about 0.5 miles. Maggie Daley Park will be on your left at 337 E Randolph St.
