Getting There

  • Bus

    From the center of Palatine, walk to the nearest bus stop and take the Pace Bus Route 696 towards the Arlington Park Station. Stay on the bus for about 15 minutes until you reach the 'Lake-Cook Rd & Route 14' stop. Transfer to the Metra train at the Arlington Park Station. Take the Metra Union Pacific Northwest Line towards Ogilvie Transportation Center. After about 40 minutes, get off at the Ogilvie Transportation Center. From there, walk east towards W Adams St, then turn right and walk south until you reach E Randolph St. Turn left on E Randolph St, and Millennium Park Welcome Center will be on your left at 201 E Randolph St.

    From the Palatine Metra Station, board the Union Pacific Northwest Line train heading towards Chicago Ogilvie Transportation Center. The ride takes approximately 45 minutes. Once you arrive at Ogilvie Transportation Center, exit the station and head east towards W Adams St. Turn right onto W Adams St and walk south until you reach E Randolph St. Turn left onto E Randolph St, and you will find the Millennium Park Welcome Center located at 201 E Randolph St.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from a local bike rental service in Palatine. Start your journey by heading southeast on E Dundee Rd towards N Quentin Rd. Continue on E Dundee Rd until you reach the bike paths leading to the Cook County Forest Preserve trails. Follow the trails towards the Des Plaines River Trail and then south towards Chicago. You will eventually reach the city and can follow the bike lanes leading to Millennium Park. Once in the area, make your way to 201 E Randolph St.
