To reach Old Town in Chicago from Palatine, start by walking to the Palatine Train Station located at 137 W Wood St, Palatine, IL 60067. From there, take the Metra Union Pacific Northwest Line train heading towards Chicago. The journey will take approximately 50 minutes. Once you arrive at the Ogilvie Transportation Center in downtown Chicago, exit the station and head towards the Washington/Wells subway station. Take the Brown Line train towards Kimball and get off at the Sedgwick stop. After exiting the station, walk south on Sedgwick Street for about 5 minutes until you reach Old Town, which is known for its vibrant streets and shops.
