Getting There

• Public Transit

  From downtown Palatine, walk to the Palatine Metra station located at 137 W Wood St. Take the Metra Union Pacific Northwest Line train heading towards Chicago. After approximately 35 minutes, disembark at the Chicago-O'Hare station. From there, transfer to the 'Blue Line' train towards Forest Park. Ride for about 30 minutes and get off at the Washington/Wells station. Walk east on Washington St for about 5 minutes until you reach Ontario St. Turn left and walk for 1 block until you reach the Redhead Piano Bar at 16 W Ontario St.

• Bus

  From Palatine, walk to the nearest bus stop for Pace Bus Route 211 at the intersection of N Smith St and E Dundee Rd. Take the bus heading towards Arlington Heights. After about 15 minutes, transfer at the Arlington Park train station to the Metra Union Pacific Northwest Line train. Board the train towards Chicago and disembark at the Chicago-O'Hare station. From there, take the 'Blue Line' train towards Forest Park, getting off at the Washington/Wells station. Walk east on Washington St, then turn left onto Ontario St; the Redhead Piano Bar will be on your left at 16 W Ontario St.

  If you prefer to walk, start at the Palatine Metra station located at 137 W Wood St. Walk south to E Dundee Rd and head east until you reach the intersection with N Smith St. Turn right and continue until you reach the intersection of N Smith St and E Northwest Hwy. You will need to follow the sidewalk along Northwest Hwy towards Chicago. This is a long walk of approximately 35 miles, so be prepared for a lengthy journey. Alternatively, consider taking public transportation to make the trip easier.
