Public Bus
From downtown Palatine, walk to the nearest bus stop on E Dundee Rd & N Smith St. Take the Pace Bus Route 606 towards Arlington Heights. Ride until you reach the stop at Arlington Heights Rd & Lake Cook Rd. Transfer to Pace Bus Route 696 towards Chicago. Ride until you reach the stop at North Avenue & Orleans St. From there, walk south on Orleans St for about 5 minutes until you arrive at Sloomoo Institute, located at 820 N Orleans St.
Train
Start at the Palatine Metra Station located at 137 W Wood St. Board the Metra Union Pacific Northwest Line train towards Chicago. Get off at the Ogilvie Transportation Center (the journey takes about 50 minutes). From Ogilvie, walk to the Washington/Wells L station. Take the Brown Line train towards Kimball and get off at the Washington/Wells stop. Transfer to the Blue Line at Washington and take it to the Damen stop. From there, take the bus or walk north on Damen Ave to North Ave, then east to Orleans St. Continue south on Orleans St for a couple of blocks until you reach Sloomoo Institute at 820 N Orleans St.
Bicycle
Rent a bike from a local shop in Palatine. Head east on E Dundee Rd towards N Smith St, then take a right on N Smith St. Continue to the intersection with E Northwest Hwy, then head south towards the bike path along the train tracks. Follow the path until it connects to the Des Plaines River Trail, which leads directly south into Chicago. Once you reach the city, continue on the trail until you reach North Ave. Turn east on North Ave and follow it until you reach Orleans St. Turn south on Orleans St and you will find Sloomoo Institute at 820 N Orleans St.
