Public Transportation
From Palatine, head to the Palatine Metra Station located at 137 W Wood St. Once there, purchase a ticket to Chicago Union Station. Board the train on the Union Pacific Northwest Line towards Chicago. The journey takes approximately 45 minutes. Upon arrival at Chicago Union Station, exit the station and walk to the nearby State/Lake 'L' station. Take the 'Red Line' train in the direction of Howard. After three stops, disembark at the Chicago stop. From there, walk east on East Lake Street towards North State Street, then turn left onto North State Street. Walk two blocks to East Ontario Street and turn right. The Escape Game Chicago will be on your left at 42 E Ontario St.
Bus
From any location in Palatine, find the nearest bus stop for the Pace Bus Route 696. Board the bus headed towards the Woodfield Mall. Get off at the Woodfield Mall stop and transfer to the Pace Bus Route 606 (Blue Line) towards the Rosemont station. Ride until you reach the Rosemont station, where you can transfer to the 'Blue Line' train. Take the train towards the Forest Park station and get off at the Washington Station. From there, walk east towards East Ontario Street. Walk two blocks to the east until you reach 42 E Ontario St, where The Escape Game Chicago is located.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from a local rental shop in Palatine. Start your ride by heading southeast on E Dundee Rd towards N Quentin Rd. Continue on the bike path that connects to the Des Plaines River Trail. Follow the trail south until you reach the Chicago River and then head east towards downtown Chicago. Once you reach the downtown area, navigate to East Ontario Street by heading north on North State Street. The Escape Game Chicago will be at 42 E Ontario St on your left.
Walking
If you're already in the downtown area of Palatine, you can head to the Palatine Metra Station at 137 W Wood St. From there, it's approximately a 1.5-mile walk to the nearest bus stop or train station that will take you to Chicago. Follow W Wood St east until you reach N Northwest Hwy. Turn left and walk until you find the bus stop for Pace Bus Route 696, which will connect you to Chicago. Alternatively, you could walk to the train station for the Union Pacific Northwest Line on the same route.
