    Train

    From Palatine Station, board an outbound Metra train on the Union Pacific Northwest Line towards Chicago. The train ride to Ogilvie Transportation Center takes about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Ogilvie, exit the station and walk to the nearby Washington/Wells station on the Brown Line. Take the Brown Line towards Kimball and get off at the Merchandise Mart station. You will find The Merchandise Mart at 222 W Merchandise Mart Plaza, just a short walk from the station.

    Head to the nearest bus stop for Pace Bus Route 696, which connects Palatine to the nearby train stations. Board the bus and ride it to the Metra train station in Arlington Heights. From there, take the Metra train towards Chicago. After arriving at Ogilvie Transportation Center, transfer to the Washington/Wells station and board the Brown Line towards Kimball. Get off at the Merchandise Mart station, and you will find The Merchandise Mart at 222 W Merchandise Mart Plaza.
